BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

Well this post has been a long time coming. I’ve been wanting to share the news but I couldn’t figure out the words and to be completely honest, I’ve been scared. There’s something that makes it feel even more real when speaking it out loud. I had shared not to long ago that we had moved. Some may know and most don’t but we moved to a whole different state! Crazy, right?!? I still can’t believe it myself.

Let’s pop open some bubbly and throw colorful confetti because… We moved to Wilmington, North Carolina!

So here’s the down-low, short version of how we landed here. About a year ago Matt asked where I would want to live other than beautiful South Florida. My first choice: Nantucket, MA. – my dream place to live. Who knows, maybe one day it will happen; but not any time soon. So out of nowhere, I voiced a second option: Wilmington, NC. Mind you, I had no idea where Wilmington was on the map, all I knew is that the Wilmington I was referring to was in NC! So we planned out a trip last summer to come and check out this random dot on a map. We drove around and discovered the historic/artistic downtown, the beautiful beaches, and some amazing BBQ! We fell in love with this place! Over many months, and a lot of difficult struggles figuring out how it all would happen, The Lord opened the doors and we moved. Gods hands had complete control and the long version of the story brings me to tears. We would be here all day if I told you every detail, so I’ve decided I’m going to do a blog series on it in the near future (because really it is an incredible story!).

We have been planted here for a few short months and we couldn’t have asked for a better community. We have a church that we just adore and I’m so excited to be leading a group of young girls. We have made the most kind and loving friends. And all the while, we are working diligently on growing our business and building community-over-competition.
Not only do we get to call Wilmington, NC our home but we are still calling South Florida our home, too! We will be based out of South Florida during the seasonal months (December – March)! Side Note : We are currently not charging for travel from NC to FL. So if you have a wedding not in the seasonal months please contact us!
We are so excited to share our new adventure with you and can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!
Much love,
Kailey
