I had been looking forward to Michelle and Chris’s wedding from the day we met on New Year’s Day! The second she said her ceremony was at Duke Chapel I was all in. We all hit it off so well, which is no surprise because they are seriously the two kindest souls ever.

When Michelle and Chris’s day arrived we were like old friends. They both got ready in the Aloft Hotel. From their we head to Duke Chapel for their ceremony. I had never set foot in Duke Chapel until that day and my jaw hit the floor. It was so gorgeous. Michelle’s grandmother had her ceremony at Duke and it only seemed fitting for her to have it there as well.

Michelle clung onto her daddy’s arm as they walked down the isle. She took Chris’s breath away. Michelle was a stunning bride and she has a way about her that will put anyone at ease. They held hands tightly and promised to cherish each other and carry each other through this life together. Forever.

Their reception was held at the Rickhouse. Pictures of them together, their families, and wedding pictures of their loved ones filled the tables all throughout the venue. It was such a sweet touch to see the legacy of their families. They danced and sang and ate sweet treats, SweetWater shaved ice to be exact, but most importantly they were surrounded by the people that love them and are cheering them on for the years to come. Michelle and Chris love to run so for their exit they changed and ran back to their resort!

Michelle and Chris, we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to document your first day as husband and wife. Know you’ll always have a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to see where your love takes you!!
