The sun was peeking through the clouds early in the morning. Shirley walked into the beautiful bridal suite at Alexander Homestead with baskets full of food and the biggest smile on her face. Shirley has such a kind heart and throughout the day always made sure everyone was well taken care of (explains the basket of food!). The air was thick with a joyful presence as Shirley and Trinh family flew from all over the world to watch them profess their love and commitment for each other.

Shirley glowed as she walked toward Trinh and tapped him on his shoulder. He spun around and his breath was taken away. Shirley looked like a dream in her wedding dress. The thing with these two is that they genuinely care for everyone they come in contact with.

They married under a beautiful Gazebo in the beautiful sunshine. Recounting how they met, their first date and how their love has blossomed into this moment of standing in front of all their loved ones.

After the ceremony, Shirley and Trinh changed into traditional Chinese ceremonial attire. They did a traditional tea ceremony honoring their parents during the reception. It was such an amazing experience to be a part of!

Their day was nothing short of sweet love, family traditions, and Ben + Jerry’s ice cream!

Trinh + Shirley – Matt and I can’t thank you enough for not only allowing us to capture your day but also for making us feel so welcome! Know that we are cheering you on and can’t wait to see how beautifully your lives unfold together!
