Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share with you the images of our girls trip today. Also, it has taken me way too long to get this post up but hey, at least it’s not as bad as just sharing our summer vacation just a few weeks ago. I promise I am getting back into blogging regularly so hopefully, I won’t run into this issue again.
Anyways, let’s jump in!
My momma and I love traveling. It has been a good 7 years since we took a girls trip. Our last trip was a cruise around the Caribbean. So when my mom said she wanted to plan another trip back in September I was all in. She has always wanted to go to London especially because she is a huge fan of Downton Abby. Now me on the other hand, I’ll be honest, I really had no desire to go to London. Wait, I know, I too could punch myself in the face for having those feelings because. Um. I fell in LOVE with London. So much so that I’m heading back in a few weeks!
We went to the beginning of October and the weather was amazing! Oh my goodness such beautiful, sunny (gasp) days almost the whole trip. We crammed a ton of things in and ate some of the best food. Our hotel was right next to the Globe Theater, so we were in such a great central area! My momma is a pro trip planner, she had everything ready for us to hit the ground running.
It was a trip of a lifetime and I am so grateful I got to experience it all with my sweet mom. All the memories and laughter I will cherish for the rest of my life! We finished the day with afternoon tea and saw Les Miserables!
p.s. we may or may not be planning another trip this October!!

Below is a quick itinerary of all the things we did! I definitly recommend the London Pass if you want to do/see ALL the things!
First day: We walked from our hotel along the Thames River and arrived at Westminster Abby. We explored the beautiful church, listened to the Evening song and then headed across the street to eat the best fish and chips of my life.
Second day: We headed straight to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. Then went to the National Gallery. From there we hopped on a riverboat and went to Greenwich!
Third day: Walked the London Bridge.Explored the Tower of London. Went to Saint Pauls Cathedral and took the steps all the way to the top! Took a double deck bus around London and landed in front of Harrods and did a little shopping!
Fourth day: Headed to Notting Hill and walked all the precious streets. Stopped off and admired Churchill Arms pub covered in flowers. Explored Kensington Palace and saw many of Princess Diana’s dresses. Went to the Victoria and Albert Museum, Walked Tower Bridge at sunset (cue the tears!) and went up the Shard at night for a beautiful city view!
Fifth day: Went to Paddington Station and searched all over for Paddington himself. He wasn’t there so we grabbed our picture with a statue of him! We then took a train to Windsor. We toured through the Castle then walked the quaint little town. Side Note: they were setting up for Princess Eugenie’s wedding happening that week.
Sixth day: Started out at the Horse Guards museum and watched the changing of the Horse Guards. Ran through the British Museum, Churchill War Room, and Royal Mews horse Stables.
